Some stores advertise apostille assistance, which is typically a forwarding service — your documents are shipped onward to a processor, adding days and handling fees on top of the counter charges.
Does the post office notarize documents?
No — the United States Postal Service does not offer notary services at any location. USPS clerks can't notarize anything, and no postal product substitutes for a notarization. If a search sent you to the post office, your actual options are a bank branch, a shipping store with a commissioned notary on duty, or an online session.
The fully-online alternative
